In Dec. 2015, the ex-works price of carbendazim technical declines month on month, but it still remains high. Since
Jan., its price maintained high level under the environmental pressure.
According to CCM’s price monitoring, in Dec. 2015, the ex-works price of
carbendazim technical decreased over previous month.

Their prices still remain high. Through market investigation, it’s found
that under the slack season, manufacturers maintained low operating rate,
limiting carbendazim technical supply.
Since Jan. 2015, carbendazim technical price have been high under heavy
environmental pressure.
In 2014, carbendazim technical price was stable and the price witnessed no wild
fluctuations. Since Oct. a great deal of environmental pressure on
manufacturers affected carbendazim technical production. Among them, Jiangsu
Yangnong Chemical Co., Ltd. (Yangnong Chemical) and Jiangsu Lanfeng Biochemical
Co., Ltd. (Lanfeng Biochemical) operated abnormally, leading to tight supply of
spot goods. Large amount of orders were placed on Zhejiang Wynca Chemical Group
Co., Ltd. (Zhejiang Wynca) and Anhui Guangxin Agrochemical Co., Ltd. (Anhui
Guangxin).
At beginning of 2015, the supply of carbendazim still got tight and the export
business was involved in downturn. Manufacturers showed pessimistic attitude
towards the market and adopted price-cut strategy to lift sales. As a result,
its price went down.
Subsequently, because of environmental problems, carbendazim supply shortage
continued and pushed up price. Since March, major manufacturers, Yangnong
Chemical and Lanfeng Biochemical, suspended production. There was only Anhui
Guangxin running. Few goods are available in the market. Carbendazim price was
climbing.
From July to Sept., the RMB/USD exchange rate was rounding, resulting in
significant decline in price after converting into dollars.
In Dec., Yangnong Chemical still suspends production owning to environmental
problems, no information about the production has been disclosed. While,
Lanfeng Biochemical resumes production and accepts orders. Anhui Guangxin is
operating and supplying goods normally.
In 2015, Yangnong Chemical’s and Lanfeng Biochemical’s production line are
hardly working under the environmental pressure. Anhui Guangxin and other
small-sized manufacturers almost meets the market demand. The fact shows that
the demand for carbendazim is so sluggish in 2015.
