Reportedly, the Chinese government is leaning to keep providing tax rebates to producers and exporters of semi-finished aluminum products in 2012, aiming to help to promote the exports in overseas markets.

It's known that the Chinese exporters of semi-finished aluminum products gained fewer orders in the Q1 of this year than a year earlier in 2011.

It is said that Chinese government prepared to slash tax rebates on some products from 13% to 15% to 9% in 2011 but it did not implement the program as growth in the exports dipped in the second half due to expectations of the cuts and weak demand from the US and Europe.

In the first two months of 2012, the world's top aluminum producer and consumer exported 400,000 tons of semi-finished aluminum products
