According to the data released by China Customs recently, in January to November of this year, Chinese overall coke and semi-finished coke exports amounted to 3.2 million metric tons, surging by 6.6% year over year. Meanwhile, in November alone Chinese coke and semi-finished coke exports stood at 90 thousand metric tons, down 10% month over month.

Meanwhile, in January to November of this year, the Chinese overall coal exports decreased by 21.22% to 13.85 million metric tons. And the aggregate coal exports in November alone reached 0.94 million metric tons, up 18.99% month over month.

According to the data released by The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the domestic coke price declined by 0.1% last week (ended on December 11) compared to prior week.

From the above data, we could see that the domestic coke prices are still on a downward trend but dips have slowdown gradually, signifying the domestic coke price may bottom out in the short run.
