Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir arrived in Beijing early morning on June 28, kicking off a state visit to China as a guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao. Near noon time the same day, President al-Bashir paid a visit to CNPC headquarters and inspected PetroChina Oil & Gas Pipeline Control Center. During his visit, CNPC and Sudanese Ministry of Petroleum signed a MOU on deepening oil and gas cooperation.
