Fertiliser companies to look into potash development
Opportunities for further development of the joint producer of potash fertilisers are being looked into by Uralkali and Belaruskali.

The sides discussed strategic steps and tactics of cooperation expansion. It can be joint investment in development of logistics infrastructure.
The company's office might be transferred to another jurisdiction. The partners consider Switzerland, where the majority of world trading companies are headquartered, as one of the variants. "The move will provide additional competitive advantages, first of all, efficient trading financing for implementation of joint investment projects in the sales markets," the Uralkali head said.
Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) is an exclusive exporter of potash fertilisers made by OAO Belaruskali (Soligorsk, Belarus) and OAO Uralkali (Russia) and the world's leading exporter of these products.
BPC exports potash fertilisers to Europe, India, China, Central and South Americas, the USA, Asia and the Pacific region, Africa and Middle East. The share of Belarusian Potash Company in the global export of potash fertilisers is over 40%. BPC was set up in 2005. The shareholders are Belaruskali (45%), Uralkali (50%) and Belarusian Railways (5%).
