Roxell merges with Agile Mfg
In order to strengthen its global footprint, Belgian manufacturer of automatic feeding and drinking systems for the poultry and pig industry, Roxell, has integrated with Agile Mfg., located in Anderson, Missouri, USA.
Since 2001, Agile Mfg. markets Roxell feeding systems, Shenandoah heating, nesting, and incinerator products, and ProTerra ventilation systems in North and Central America.
Gino Van Landuyt , managing director of Roxell says, "With this latest step, Roxell will generate over a??100 million (US$129 million) of sales, employ over 300 people in four locations, and have manufacturing capabilities in three continents, Europe, America, and Asia. This offers further benefits to our customers and distributors both by expanding the product range and the flexibility of production close to the end customer."
Roxell remains a business unit of CTB, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Agile Mfg. will operate as Roxell USA from now on. There will be no changes to its manufacturing activities.
"This new organisation will allow us to offer a complete package of premium products to all of the Americas. It will also enable us to further strengthen the Roxell brand and regionally expand the Shenandoah and ProTerra brands throughout the Americas", said Mick Whelan, International sales manager for the Americas.
