JD Heiskell acquiring feed facilities in Idaho
Grain and commodity trading business JD Heiskell & Company is purchasing the Land O'Lakes Purina Feed facilities in Twin Falls and Gooding, Idaho, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition is consistent with the company's commitment to growing its direct-dairy-producer business in the region, the company said.
JD Heiskell chairman Scot Hillman said the company's goal is to make the ownership transition as smooth and seamless as possible for all concerned.
JD Heiskell is a 123-year-old grain and commodity trading business that also operates livestock feed manufacturing and trans-loading facilities in seven western states, and exports grains and commodities to Mexico, the Pacific Rim and the Far East.
