Vitamex acquires shares of INVE's Spanish premix activity
Press Release
Vitamex and INVE Group have reached an agreement on the sale of all shares of Premix Iberica, the Spanish premix activity of the INVE Group, to Vitamex.
With this acquisition, Vitamex aims to strengthen its position on the Spanish market.
Closing of the deal is expected by the end of July 2009.
The acquisition of INVE Group's Spanish premix activities is expected to help Vitamex to develop and expand its business on the Spanish market.
The INVE Group is divesting its Spanish premix activities because the company wants to strengthen its focus on activities in aquaculture (INVE Aquaculture) and the specialty feed additives and flavour-/sweeteners business (NUTRI-AD).
Within the production plant of Premix Iberica, Vitamex will be producing its own products specially for the Spanish market. The plant has three fully automated production lines, one being dedicated to the production of pelleted prestarter feed for young animals.
Vitamex, a part of Cehave Landbouwbelang, operates on the international market for premixes, concentrates and special products for livestock feed.
