De Heus buys Russia's Neokorm
Dutch feed company De Heus has completed the purchase of Neokorm located in Laginsk, Vladimir Oblast, Russia.
The acquisition is realised by a joint venture of De Heus and MKorma.
The joint venture incorporated all activities related to feed, concentrates and premixes for commercial farming operations.
Neokorm has a premix production facility at the Laginsk location, and the company fits in the international strategy of De Heus, focusing on strong local presence and growth in markets with high agricultural potential.
In Russia, Neokorm offers De Heus the possibility of becoming a local producer of premixes instead of being an exporter to the Federation. All products will be marketed under the Koudijs Mkorma name.
Neokorm is De Heus' fourth acquisition this year so far.
