Animal feed distributed to 25 flood-affected provinces in Thailand
The Livestock Development Department has instructed 29 animal feed development and research centers and animal feed development stations across the country to urgently distribute fresh and dried grass to the livestock farmers.
More than 230,000 kg of grass are expected to be given to them and the department has provided medicines and treated 14,000 animals in the flooded areas.
More than 46,000 livestock farmers in 25 provinces were affected by the flood and almost 3 million livestock animals and 800 rai (128 hectares) of grassland have been damaged.
