China's industrial feed output rises 14 percent on-year
China's industrial feed output totaled 39.2 million tonnes in January-April this year, increasing by 13.6 percent, the China Feed Industry Association (CFIA) said.
The association further predicts that China's feed output will hit 130 million tonnes in 2008, obtaining a growth of more than 10 percent on-year.
The country's industrial feed output had reached 100 million tonnes for three years from 2005 to 2007.
Sun Jiqiang, deputy director with information center of CFIA, said that China's industrial output now accounts for one fifth of the global output, ranking second in the world for the past 17 years.
In 2007, industrial feed totaled 123 million tonnes, up 11.5 percent on-year.
