China raises retail oil prices

China raised retail gasoline price by 390 yuan/t ($62.45/t), or 0.29 yuan a liter, and diesel price by 375 yuan/t, or 0.32 yuan a liter, starting from February 28, announced the nation’s top economic planner on February 27.This is the second time that the National Development and Reform Commission raised the retail oil price this year, after 13 cuts in a row since July last year when the global crude prices posted a seven-month plunge.China increased retail price of gasoline by 290 yuan/t ($46.58/t) and diesel by 280 yuan/t on February 9 this year.
