Sui Pengfei, Director General of
ICAMA, visited Noposion Ltd. as his point of contact from Dec. 1 to 3 for specialized investigation.
He paid visit to the R&D center, plants and the headquarters of Noposion, and listened to introduction on pesticide R&D, registration, manufacturing, marketing and extension. He also discussed with the company staff on their comments to pesticide management, the current situation and latest development of China's pesticide industry, and issues of great concern to the industry, including classification-based management, registration of new products, business license, market supervision, branding, farmers' training on pesticide use, integrated
pest control and IT application, etc.
Sui highly appreciated the innovative spirit of Noposion and its achievements in biomaterial R&D, such as breakthroughs in water-based formulations and vegetable oil substitutes for Xylene solvent, etc.
Sui pointed out that building close contact with grassroots institutions is acted upon the requirements of CPC Leadership Group at MOA to go down to the grass roots and change work approach. Through investigations at points of contact, we had collected a large amount of first-hand information, and built up our confidence in work. It is also essential to improve service awareness, re-emphasize down-to-earth approach and innovate in development mindset.
He also visited Guangzhou Liby Group Co., Ltd. to know its practices in safety evaluation of hygiene insecticides, and Guangzhou ICA for comments and suggestions on reinforcing China's pesticide management system.
Cai Hanxiong, Deputy Director General, Lu Guohuang, Chief Agronomist of Guangdong Agriculture Department, and Jiying, Chief Agronomist of ICAMA accompanied DG Sui's visit.
