Nutriad group, a global producer of animal feed additives for livestock and aquaculture, commemorated North and Central American Regional Director Keith Klanderman''s 30th year with the company.

Nutriad CEO Erik Visser said, "People define who we are as a company. A long term commitment between company and employees creates a platform for sustainable growth. We are very proud to be celebrating Keith Klanderman''s anniversary and to honour his track record in Nutriad and the feed industry, together with our colleagues in Elgin (Illinois)."

Keith obtained his Bachelor''s degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and went on to complete a Master''s Degree in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Minnesota in 1978.

Out of college, Keith started his career working for DoBoy Feeds as a technical sales manager. In 1985 Keith joined Feed Flavors, Inc. based out of Wheeling, Illinois as a National Accounts Manager. He enjoyed much success with Feed Flavors and worked his way through the ranks in Sales, Technical Services, Management and eventually as Vice President of Technical Services & Research. Over the years, Keith''s dedicated efforts helped make Feed Flavors the leading palatability company in North America. In 2000, Feed Flavors became part of the Braes Feed Ingredient group, known as BFI, and Keith was promoted to President & CEO. Shortly after, the Apex and Lysopex product lines were first introduced and are still growing today. In 2003, BFI/Feed Flavors was acquired by the Inve group and became Nutriad, Inc.

Since Keith''s career with Feed Flavors began in 1985, he has seen the company through five different ownerships, industry consolidation, increased regulations and other numerous changes. Despite these changes, under Keith''s leadership, Nutriad has maintained an admirable track record of earnings and growth over the years. The company has gone from primarily palatability-dependent to become a fully diversified feed additive organisation with technical digestive performance and mycotoxin management sales now leading the way.

Last year was a record year of sales growth and earnings for Nutriad Inc.

Later this year Nutriad will open a new North American corporate office, laboratory, and production facility in Hampshire, Illinois.

Keith Klanderman said, "I take great pride in the many Nutriad employees and customers who have made the company''s success possible. My successful career in Nutriad would not have been possible without the excellent teamwork of committed and passionate people all around the world. I am happy and proud to be associated with Nutriad."

Aside from Nutriad, Keith has served the feed industry over the years in various capacities, which currently includes serving on the board of directors of the American Feed Industry Association.
